FUTURE OF MOBILITY - Swiss energy company RePower, looking to expand their transportation energy market,  wanted a strategy to build social engagement around the future of mobility. Beyond electric scooters, RePower sought to expand their European market while encouraging their future customer to envision what the future of energy could entail.
The Future Frames Project is a a 3-Phase Strategy integrating public art exhibits and product installations, social media sharing applications, and web.
A 3-STAGE TEST
STAGE 1 - A SOCIAL INSTALLATION
Giving people a tool for envisioning. 1 year. 12 cities.
Installation of lifesize lenses that allow a view to see the world in front of them through a different future scenario with each successive lense. It draws the envisioned future of energy and mobility into the practical and tangible.
STAGE 2 - Digital DIY
Describe your own vision for your world.
Social application empowers users to employ the same tool they experienced with the art installation - taking snapshots of their own locale and using digital illustrations to to superimpose how they see the future of their world.
STAGE 3 - A Platform
Seeing it all together on a global scale.
A web platform to access a map to all the 'visions' for the future of mobility, built by people in their communities for their communities.
